Due to the nature of our zone card training system, most classes are accessible to all riders. However the green classes ( see classes tab) include a higher level of intensity and it is recommended that riders work toward these sessions.
Our studios are close to public transport. Limited metered and unmetered parking is available on surrounding streets. Be aware that parking inspectors are around.

You can check the timetable and book into class online up to an hour before class begins.
You will also need to book a bike to use for the class ( this is how the leaderboard system knows your rider profile). You will be prompted to do this upon booking into a class.

What ever you feel comfortable wearing. Most riders wear padded cycling knicks (for comfort) but the option is yours.

Richmond – If you are riding , store your bike down stairs ( Richmond) Say hello to your instructor, tell them your full name and let them know that it’s your first time at the studio so they can show you around.
Richmond – Please store your belongings in a secure locker in the change rooms or upstairs in the storage cubes.
Camberwell – – Please store your belongings in the storage cubes.
Your Intro Pass will activate on your first class booking and is valid for 14 days. Please note: we are unable to suspend/hold or extend the Intro Pass.

Yes, all our instructors are skilled at visual indoor bike fitting and will ask you a few questions about any injuries / contra-indicators that may affect the bike set up
All instructors will discuss your current fitness level and exercise regieme and recommend the right zone card to use within the sessions
Personalized zone cards are located at the instructor bike station. The card will guide you to set write the bike measurements on the bike set up picture.
PTP Testing sessions are scheduled on the timetable – they run 1 x per month per studio
You will need a testing credit to book into these sessions. Testing sessions are 20 mins and testing credits cost $20

Yes – infact on-bike rehab is beneficial for many injuries. Whether this is remaining fit whilst an injury heals or strengthening via non-impact exercise. Depending on the type of injury. You may need a referral from your specialist/ physio etc. Advise the instructor prior to the session so ensure your personalized bike set up
Yes. If you have had no complications and have been given the ok from your doctor you are welcome to ride. Please tell the class instructor at the beginning of each session of your pregnancy and if you have any physical or physiological requirements. Over time your bike set up will need to be adjusted to for comfort. Please be mindful of your heart rate an effort levels and it recommended not to participate in Green classes in the later terms of your pregnancy.
Yes. Children are however the responsibility of the parent or guardian. In both studios there is a communal seating area the children may sit at during the spin/indoor bike sessions .Teenagers aged 14-17 are welcome to attend class if accompanied by an adult ( no concession rates apply – no child pricing is available).

Cycle Collective is happy to provide invoices for membership and pass payments. These invoices will display your pass/membership purchase, dates of purchase and value of purchase. The invoice will also show our ABN number, business logo and address.

Riders are allocated a position on a leaderboard, based on either KJ output or watts/kg, relative to other riders in the class.
Your position on the leader board may change during an interval or during a entire class.
If you have, even a slight, competitive nature, the numbers will motivate you!. Competing against yourself and your own previous performances or someone is in the class.

You can cancel a class up to 2 hours before the class start time.
If you’re late for class you won’t be permitted entry. We know stuff happens – sometimes completely out of your control – but late entry disturbs the teacher and the other students, and missing the warm up could increase your risk of injury. Missed booked classes will incur a fee to the value of the booked ride.
If you are successful in getting off a waitlist into a class, you will be emailed as soon as the reservation availability occurs
Currently, the only option for notification is via email.
If we have someone on standby for a spot in a class and you’re not at the session at the start time you’ll lose your spot and they’ll be put in the class.
You can see all the classes you’ve booked to be notified about on your dashboard and can cancel the notification at any time.
If you have a 5, 10 or 20 class or drop in pass: a class will be deducted from the pass.
If you have a membership or Intro Pass: you’ll be charged a $25 ‘no-show’ fee.
Membership payments are direct-debited from your account on a monthly schedule from the day you sign up, or you can nominate a date that syncs with your pay cycle. Your account will automatically renew until you notify us to cancel the contract. Seven days’ notice is required.

Memberships suspensions require 7 days notice for any suspensions. The minimum suspension term is 7 days, and the maximum suspension is 56 days annually. In the first 16 weeks of your membership, the maximum suspension term is 14 days.

Automatic top-up means that when you run through your class pass, our system automatically stocks you back up with five or ten classes, depending on your preference.
Yes. For a family membership each family member will receive 10% off the cost of the membership payment. The discount applies to immediate family living in the same household and requires a four month commitment.

The programming guidelines are science based so you can deliver results.
The knowledge & experience gained allows you to use the skills & information for employment in boutique studios or larger gyms.
The course is available in 3 parts
Level 3– for first time teachers who want to learn from the best industry professionals in the industry, receive national accreditation via Fitness Australia or Physical Activity Australia and to to inspire each and every rider to allow themselves to them to be in the best shape of their lives.
Level 2: ½ day ( morning only)– cycling science and biomechanics training for those looking to expand their knowledge but not wanting to instruct classes
Level 1: ½ day (afternoon only)– for those already accredited indoor cycling/ spin instructors wanting to upskill, learn current training techniques, advance class programming to the next level and set yourself apart from other fitness professionals and learn fill more classes.
