First Class
If you are new to indoor cycling we recommend you try one of our beginner classes to ensure you feel comfortable with everything you need to know for your first class.

When you come in for your first class try to make it 15 minutes prior to the start time. This gives us some time to ask you a few questions. We can provide a 'zone card' that will help you get the best experience out of the class. Also if you need bike shoes we can fit you up and then finally get the bike set up properly.

At Cycle Collective we use “Bike Shoes” that’s right we clip in for the ride to allow you to engage more muscles and ride out of the saddle safely and efficiently. If you don’t have your own, don’t sweat it, we have plenty available for session rental @ $1/pair

We use SPD pedals which typically are used for mountain biking. They make it easier to walk around the studio and safer. If you are a road cyclist and have your own road shoes that are not compatible with our pedals, no sweat we have some shoes you can use.

You will sweat a lot! Please bring your own sweat towel for the class.

Post ride - If you want to take advantage of our first class facilities for a shower afterwards you can hire a towel at the check in station or off course you can bring your own.

Water – can’t live without it, especially in a cycling class! We have 'Zen water' at the top of the stairs, so just remember to bring a water bottle or you can grab one from the check in station. Alternatively bottled water is available for sale.

Booking Window
Schedules are updated daily and classes can be booked online from one week in advance until 30 minutes before the start of the class.  After that, we ask that you call the studio directly to ensure there is still space available.

Cancellation Policy
If you want to cancel a booking, you can do so up to 2 hours before the start of the class via the 'My Account' section of the Website or in your Cycle Collective Mindbody account, or by calling the studio. After this, we will be unable to reimburse your account for the credit.

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist (1 credit in your account is needed to join the waitlist).  As bikes become available they will be automatically allocated to the waitlist on a first come, first served basis.  If you are allocated a bike through the waitlist you will be notified by email or text.  Please make sure you cancel your place if you no longer wish to be on the waitlist for a class -- this can also be done in the 'My Account' section or by calling the studio.  Once you are assigned a bike, the normal cancellation policy is in effect.  If no bikes become available by the start of the class, the credit will be returned to your account.

Check in

Upon arrival, check in with your host at the front desk. We ask that you arrive and check in at least 5 minutes prior to your class time. After this time, your bike may be released to someone on the waitlist or a walk-in. If you know you are running late, please give us a call.  We can hold your bike up to the start of the class.

Performance Metrics

During each class we have 2 screens that display your stats for the class. We encourage and push you during the class to increase your personal performance and for those people who might be competitive with friends, you can push each other!

The main performance metric is “watts” which is basically the amount of force you are applying to the pedals. As you get stronger, fitter and improve your technique you will find your average watts increase allowing you to burn more energy during each class.

This is just the start of what our software can do...

Collective etiquette

Keep our space clean. You will notice when you come in the pride we take in our space and equipment so all we ask is for you to leave it as you found it. We provide hygienic wet towels upstairs to wipe down your bikes at the end of each class along with towel bins for your bike towels.

If you need to leave early please let the instructor know prior to the class.

Strictly no phones on upstairs

Smelly people are no fun

We have the best change facility going around and although 10 showers are sufficient please be mindful of others when using the showers not to mention water usage.
