Cycle Collective Richmond, established in 2014 is recognised as Melbourne’s premier performance-based indoor cycling studio.
Given that indoor cycling is a perfect non-impact modality for team fitness cross-training, we collaborate with sporting clubs and sports teams across Melbourne to deliver customised training programmes that complement training routines and goals.
Current and previous sporting teams training for pre, during and post season sports include AFL teams including Richmond Football Club, AFL Umpires, Victorian Bush Rangers, Old Geelong Football Club, Australian Women’s cricket team, Scotch Cycling Team and Inclusive Sports Training, to name a few.
Using 2 types of bikes.

We have room for groups up to 20 people with easy parking and access to public transport
SESSION PROGRAMMING
Science based classes can be programmed to improve specific modalities including Cardiovascular Health, Strength, Endurance, Speed, Power and more!
ACCURATE ZONE TRAINING (POWER BASED)
Each rider uses tailored & accurate training zones, ensuring they ride at personal fitness
level but do it in group, taking the guesswork out of fitness improvements
INTERACTIVE SCENERY – GAMIFIED WORKOUTS
Our inhouse software Spivi, gamifies the session as an immersive workout experience with real time animation, connecting riders to other riders to support personal best efforts
MOTIVATION
The in house leaderboard (opt in/out) structured and goal-oriented nature of performance-based spin classes provides each rider with motivation, a sense of accomplishment and drive
Spivi displays power (watts) and cadence (rpm) energy generation (kj) for each rider – so each rider can see personal performance/ output at any given time.
FITNESS TRACKING
Real time data and comprehensively tracks improvements over time
Track distances, kilojoules, calories burned, average power, power/weight allowing individuals to see the impact of their efforts and reach achievable goals
Post ride workout summary direct to your email with HR, Power , RPM, Speed , Distance, Calories and more!
SMART DEVICES
Seamlessly sync to Smart Watches, Strava, Training Peaks, HR monitor or Bike Computers
TEAM GAMES
The Spivi system has capabilities of building teams – and facilitating team racing for another level of in-house competition.
The software will take the average power output of the members of each team and represent as a coloured line based around an interval time (i.e 30 secs, 1 min, 3 mins etc)
The longest line is the winning team – see over pic — (the yellow team is the winner of this race)
BIKES
We have 20 Bikes in total using 2 styles of bikes – one style is more like a spin bike and the other has a road bike feel – so we can cater for various abilities and fitness levels.
We use clip in shoes, and have shoe sizing ranging from 37 – 48
The bikes used for more beginners also all have options to use runners rather than bike shoes

We understand that different teams have different budgets and different numbers of members and work with many teams of different shapes, sizes
