Face-2-face, safe, interactive, hands-on training and education providing all the tools necessary to deliver calculated, advanced, safe and fun indoor cycling sessions.

A complete indoor cycling training program for fitness instructors, industry professionals and all those wanting to take the next step in their sporting career.

Delivering comprehensive content, the course and accompanying handbook cover all aspects of endurance sport training, specifically addressing elements specific to cycling.

Included class design templates and documents will get you rolling on the lead bike once you have completed the practical and theoretical sections of the day.

By the end of the course, as a qualified indoor cycle instructor, you should be both confident and capable of filling studios, teaching great classes, delivering a variety of sessions, in any studio, within Australia. You will;

  • Have an increased knowledge of the physiology of cycling
  • Gain a greater understanding of the importance of a correct bike fit and bicycling biomechanics as they relate to both performance and injury prevention
  • Understand the role of fitness measures (heart rate, perceived exertion and power) and how they can be used to monitor progress and prescribe exercise
  • Understand the principles of effective program design to deliver fun sessions that get results for all riders.
  • Understand the importance of music playlists to create mood and environment
  • Gain tips to inspire each and every rider to get best personal outcomes.
  • Be able to lead a class, within a studio environment with confidence, conviction and intention.

About the presenter;

Kate Perry (MHPS) is a Sports Scientist having completed her Masters in High Performance.

She is currently a Master Trainer at Cycle Collective.

She is an Associate Coach for FTP Training, specializing in high intensity interval training, strength and conditioning and works with some of the nation’s leading endurance cyclists in both road and mountain bike disciplines.

Kate is a pretty handy on a bike too and is currently riding for Specialized Women’s Racing as one of the leading female cyclists in the National Road Series here in Australia.
